Refund policy
A clear window to change your mind.
When a viamu Plus charge can be refunded, how to request it, what happens to access, and how cancellation differs from a refund.

On this page
This policy applies only to charges for viamu Plus. It does not apply to an application, registration, tuition, travel, visa, or other fee charged by an external opportunity provider. viamu does not collect or control those provider fees.
No paid subscription is sold while the public pricing page marks viamu Plus unavailable. When subscriptions open, FastSpring acts as merchant of record and processes approved refunds to the original payment method.
14-day refund window
Request a full refund within 14 calendar days of an initial purchase or renewal.
Cancellation is separate
Cancel renewal in the billing portal to prevent the next charge.
Consumer rights remain
Mandatory local cancellation, cooling-off, warranty, or refund rights always continue to apply.
When a refund is available
You may request a full refund within 14 calendar days after an initial viamu Plus purchase or subscription renewal. After 14 days, completed charges are generally non-refundable for unused time, except where:
- The charge is duplicated, incorrect, or unauthorized.
- viamu materially fails to provide the paid access purchased and does not restore it within a reasonable time.
- A promotion or checkout term gives you a broader refund right.
- Applicable law requires a cancellation, cooling-off, warranty, or refund remedy.
How to request a refund
Email onviamu@gmail.com from the address associated with the purchase. Include the FastSpring order ID, charge date, amount and currency, and a short explanation. Do not send a full card number, security code, password, one-time code, bank credential, passport, or unrelated application document. viamu may ask for proportionate information needed to locate and verify the transaction.
Review, payment, and timing
viamu reviews the request and instructs FastSpring when a refund is approved. FastSpring returns the approved amount to the original payment method and sends the transaction notification. Bank, card, wallet, currency-conversion, and local network processing times are outside viamu’s control. Taxes and exchange-rate effects are handled according to the original transaction and applicable rules.
What happens to Plus access
An approved full refund ends viamu Plus access and the related subscription will be canceled so it does not renew. A partial refund, payment dispute, chargeback, or fraud review may suspend paid access while the transaction is resolved. Free account access remains available unless the account is separately restricted for a valid safety, legal, or abuse reason.
Cancellation and future renewals
A refund request does not replace cancellation. Use Manage billing in viamu or FastSpring’s account portal to cancel renewal. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period, lets you use Plus until then, and prevents the next renewal. It does not automatically refund a completed charge. If you cannot access the portal, contact onviamu@gmail.com before the renewal date.
Contact us before opening a payment dispute when it is safe to do so; a chargeback is a separate bank process and immediately suspends paid access. This does not limit your right to contact your bank or exercise mandatory legal remedies.
External opportunity fees
A fee displayed in an opportunity listing comes from an external source. viamu cannot collect, cancel, or refund it. Verify the provider’s amount, currency, payment domain, and refund policy on its official website before paying. viamu never sells a scholarship, admission, award, visa, employment decision, or guaranteed outcome.
