The Youth To The Front Fund is a flagship initiative by WAFF created to identify, fund, and support young leaders and collectives who are tackling some of the world’s most pressing issues such as:

  • Social and cultural marginalization

This initiative has already supported over 110 Frontliners across more than 50 countries, distributing significant funding and resources to youth-led projects globally.

Unlike many traditional programs, this fund prioritizes creative expression and cultural innovation as powerful tools for social transformation.

Who Can Apply? (Target Audience)

This opportunity is specifically designed for:

1. Young Creatives and Cultural Practitioners – Artists, designers, filmmakers, writers, performers, and innovators

2. Youth-Led Collectives and Organizations – Groups working collaboratively on social impact projects

3. Activists and Community Leaders – Individuals leading grassroots initiatives or movements

4. Global Applicants – Open to applicants from:

4. Writing and Literary Arts – Poetry, journalism, storytelling

5. Film and Media – Documentary filmmaking, cultural storytelling
