Traineeship Overview

This traineeship combines practical experience, training coordination, and exposure to global diplomacy processes.

Key Details:

  • Location: Geneva, Switzerland
  • Duration: 3 months (extendable up to 6 months)
  • Start Date: June 2026 (flexible)
  • Work Format: Full-time, office-based

Although the traineeship is unpaid, selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of 900 CHF to support transportation and miscellaneous expenses.

What You Will Do

As a trainee, you will work closely with the MDP team and contribute to the implementation of both Field Visits and Online Training Programmes.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate logistics before, during, and after training programmes
  • Liaise with partner institutions and participants
  • Prepare documentation and training materials
  • Manage content on UNITAR’s e-learning platform
  • Support communication and outreach efforts
  • Assist in facilitating online sessions and webinars
  • Accompany participants during field visits in Geneva
