Dates & Details

Registration is now open for the 2024 Commonwealth People’s Forum, which will take place at the Tanoa Tusitala Hotel in Apia, Samoa from October 21-22, 2024.

The People’s Forum will convene six interactive panel sessions, focusing on the critical issues facing the people of the Commonwealth: climate justice, health justice, and freedom of expression.

Funding

Please note that all costs associated with your participation in the Forum, including travel and accommodation expenses, must be covered by you or your sponsoring organisation.

The Commonwealth Foundation is unable to provide financial assistance, so please only register if you can confirm that your participation is fully funded.

Who Can Register?

We are aiming for a diverse group of delegates from across the Commonwealth, including Commonwealth accredited and affiliated organizations. We encourage those with new or lesser-heard voices and perspectives to register for the People’s Forum.

There is no registration fee to participate in the People’s Forum. However, due to limited capacity at the venue, we cannot guarantee that all registrations will be accepted. To ensure that you do not take a space from someone else, please only apply if you are certain that you will be able to attend.

Virtual Attendance

We understand that traveling to Samoa may not be feasible for everyone. We are currently working with the Host Government to make the full Forum programme accessible online.
