Call for Applications of Global FinTech Hackcelerator 2026 !!

The Global FinTech Hackcelerator 2026, organised by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and the Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN), invites fintech startups from around the world to apply for a global innovation program focused on solving real-world challenges in the financial sector. The program is designed to support emerging fintech companies with innovative solutions and connect them with leading industry players.

The Hackcelerator provides startups with the opportunity to collaborate with major financial institutions and corporate partners by developing solutions based on industry-defined problem statements. Selected startups receive access to mentorship, expert guidance, industry insights, and networking opportunities with investors, regulators, and technology leaders. The program aims to help promising fintech companies improve their solutions, expand their networks, and accelerate their growth in global markets.

The program is open to early-stage fintech startups that are bootstrapped or operating at the Pre-Seed, Seed, or Series A stage. Participants are expected to present innovative, scalable solutions that address current challenges in financial services. Through structured learning sessions, masterclasses, and investor engagement opportunities, startups can strengthen their business strategies and gain valuable knowledge from experienced professionals in the fintech ecosystem.

Selected finalist teams will have the opportunity to showcase their solutions during the Singapore FinTech Festival 2026, one of the world’s largest fintech events. Up to 20 finalists will pitch their innovations to a global audience of investors, financial institutions, and industry experts. Each finalist team will receive a SGD 20,000 stipend to support participation expenses, while the top three winning teams will receive SGD 80,000 in non-dilutive prize money along with potential pilot opportunities with Corporate Champions.

Although the program is hosted in Singapore, startups from different countries can participate and benefit from access to Southeast Asia’s growing fintech ecosystem. Through collaboration, mentorship, and industry connections, the program supports entrepreneurs in transforming innovative ideas into impactful financial technology solutions.

Eligibilities

• Applicants should meet the following requirements:
  • Early-stage fintech startups with a market-ready solution addressing the provided problem statements.
  • Startups currently operating at the Bootstrapped, Pre-Seed, Seed, or Series A stage.
  • Companies based in, operating in, or planning to enter the Southeast Asian market.
  • Teams open to external funding opportunities and collaboration with industry partners.
  • Teams with no more than 10 members are recommended for effective collaboration.

Eligible Regions: Open to all countries.

Application Process

• Applicants should complete the application process by following these steps:
  • Submit the initial registration form with startup details.
  • Upload the pitch deck, written proposal, and product demonstration video through the application portal.
  • Wait for finalist selection and participate in the virtual program from September to November 2026.
  • Attend the in-person program in Singapore and pitch at Demo Day.
