The initiative focuses on increasing youth awareness of climate change and sustainability while enabling volunteers to participate in one of the world’s most important environmental gatherings. Selected volunteers will contribute to different operational areas of COP31, supporting event coordination, participant assistance, communication processes, and other activities required for the smooth execution of the conference.
The program welcomes university students, young professionals, international students studying in Türkiye, international youth volunteers recommended through diplomatic missions, and young members of the Turkish diaspora living in Europe. The initiative aims to build a diverse volunteer community of approximately 5,000 participants, including around 1,500 international volunteers, creating a multicultural network focused on climate awareness and global cooperation.
Selected volunteers will participate in an online training program before the conference. The training covers sustainability, climate change, carbon footprint, green transformation, international delegation communication, event management, visitor guidance, and environmental awareness. After completing the training successfully, volunteers will take part in COP31 operations and gain practical experience in managing an international climate conference.
