About the Nestlé National Service Program

The National Service Person role at Nestlé is a full-time, one-year contract designed to support the company’s operations while nurturing the next generation of industry professionals. Participants join a dynamic, purpose-driven organization committed to enhancing the quality of life and contributing to a healthier future.

Key Responsibilities of the National Service Person

Participants in this program will be actively involved in meaningful tasks that contribute to Nestlé’s operations. Responsibilities include:

  1. Supporting Daily Operations Assisting in routine activities within the assigned department to ensure smooth business processes.
  2. Project Support Contributing to ongoing projects through research, data analysis, reporting, and administrative duties.
  3. Cross-Functional Collaboration Working with multiple teams across the organization to support business objectives and operational efficiency.
  4. Training and Development Participation Engaging in Nestlé’s structured training programs, mentorship sessions, and learning modules designed to enhance professional capabilities.
  5. Creative and Strategic Contribution Bringing fresh ideas, innovative thinking, and proactive solutions to team discussions and project planning.
  6. Upholding Nestlé Values Demonstrating respect, integrity, collaboration, and innovation in all assigned tasks.

What Makes a Successful Candidate?

Nestlé seeks motivated, agile, and forward-thinking graduates who are eager to learn and contribute. Ideal candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in:
    • Engineering
    • Social Sciences
    • Business Administration
    • IT or Computer Science
    • Graphic Design
    • Photography and Videography
  • OR an HND qualification in:
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Mechanical/Electrical Technician fields

Additional requirements include:

  • Completion of national service eligibility requirements as mandated by local legislation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and willingness to learn.
  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Ability to speak French is an added advantage.
