Programme Objectives

The FAO Internship Programme aims to:

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify, applicants must:

  • Be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate programme or be a recent graduate
  • Study in a field relevant to FAO’s work
  • Be aged 21 to 30 years
  • Be a national of an FAO member country
  • Have working knowledge of at least one FAO language (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian, or Spanish)
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and adaptability in a multicultural environment

Note: Academic qualifications must be from institutions recognized by UNESCO/IAU (WHED database).
