About the Community Development Consultant Role

ICF is recruiting an On-Call Community Development Consultant to support the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

This is a remote, home-based position with variable part-time hours. Assignments are provided on a demand-response basis, meaning work schedules will vary depending on project requirements and client needs.

The successful consultant will work alongside a multidisciplinary team delivering technical assistance and training related to:

Key Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

Technical Assistance

Basic Qualifications

Applicants should possess one of the following:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in:

OR

Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in a closely related field.

Applicants must also have:

  • At least 10 years of experience working with HUD programs.
  • Extensive understanding of:
