The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and CBRE are teaming up once again to deliver a transformative opportunity for HBCU students passionate about commercial real estate. The 2025 CBRE HBCU Immersive Experience: Corporate Real Estate 201 invites top-performing students to dive deep into the world of real estate services and investment management through a dynamic, all-expenses-paid experience.

What is the CBRE HBCU Immersive Experience?

This prestigious three-day program will welcome 20 outstanding HBCU students to Los Angeles, California, for an insider’s view into CBRE — the world’s largest commercial real estate services and investment firm. From November 4–6, 2025, selected participants will engage with top leaders and professionals at CBRE, gaining direct exposure to its services, projects, and career paths.

Led by CBRE’s executives and HBCU strategy team, the program provides participants with an immersive and empowering introduction to corporate real estate, all while showcasing CBRE’s inclusive corporate culture.

Program Highlights

  • In-person networking and mentorship from CBRE professionals

  • Deep-dive sessions into real estate development, construction management, global real estate, finance, and more

  • Exclusive exposure to CBRE’s corporate environment and business units

  • All-expenses-paid trip to Los Angeles: flights, hotel accommodations, and major meals are fully covered

This is more than an internship or a campus seminar—it’s a career-shaping journey designed to inspire the next generation of real estate professionals from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the 2025 CBRE HBCU Immersive Experience, you must:

  • Be currently enrolled at an accredited HBCU

  • Have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA

  • Be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, or National

  • Be interested in commercial real estate, including fields like:

    • Real estate fundamentals

    • Real estate development

    • Global real estate markets

    • Real estate finance

    • Construction management

Students from all academic classifications (freshmen through seniors) are encouraged to apply!
