Course Outcome
This course provides a comprehensive understanding of climate finance. By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Identify key climate finance sources, instruments, and mechanisms and their role in supporting climate action
- Explain the roles and responsibilities of different stakeholders in the climate finance system
- Outline strategies to coordinate public finance more effectively for climate initiatives
- Discover innovative finance mechanisms to access new capital, including private sector investments
- Understand how applying a gender equality and social inclusion (GESI) lens ensures that climate investments reach vulnerable communities
The course integrates real-world case studies and examples to demonstrate how gender equality and social inclusion can be embedded into climate finance strategies for both mitigation and adaptation.
Certification
Participants who successfully complete the course and pass the final quiz (minimum 70 percent score within three attempts) will receive an official certificate of completion.
