This fully funded international fellowship provides individuals from around the world with the opportunity to participate in high-level global discussions shaping the future of the Internet.

About the ICANN87 Fellowship Program

The ICANN Fellowship Program is designed to strengthen global participation in Internet governance by supporting individuals from underserved and underrepresented communities. The ICANN87 edition is tied to the Annual General Meeting scheduled for 17–22 October 2026 in Muscat, Oman .

This fellowship allows selected participants to:

  • Attend the ICANN Public Meeting (in-person or virtually)
  • Receive mentorship from experienced professionals
  • Gain deep insight into how global Internet systems are coordinated
  • Build international networks with experts, policymakers, and stakeholders

ICANN plays a critical role in coordinating unique Internet identifiers globally, ensuring the Internet remains stable, secure, and unified.
