About the Fellowship
The HeadStart Fellowship is a mentorship program designed to give high achieving college students a “head start” on their professional and personal development. The program is entirely virtual. The program will give students exposure to professional opportunities and guidance within the technology, finance & consulting fields. The fellowship offers two virtual cohorts each year in the Spring and Fall semesters, providing weekly and bi-weekly educational sessions, networking opportunities, and mentorship for university students.
Program Components
- General Education: Weekly sessions on professional skills like problem-solving, resume/cover letter writing, and networking.
- Vertical Specific Sessions: Bi-weekly technical training in a vertical of your choosing.
- Corporate Sponsor Events: Networking with industry professionals.
- Small Group Sessions: Informal networking and career guidance on a range of topics.
- Mentorship: Pairing with mentors within the same vertical for personalized career advice.
- Speaker Series: Insights from industry trailblazers, ranging from entrepreneurs to corporate leaders..
