In a world where climate extremes and disasters are increasingly frequent, acting early—before a crisis fully unfolds—can save lives and protect livelihoods. The FAO’s free eLearning course “Developing an Anticipatory Action System” offers practical, expert-led guidance on how to build and implement systems that link early warning signals with targeted, timely responses in the areas of food security and agriculture.

This course is especially crucial for professionals seeking to enhance community resilience, protect development gains, and reduce the human and economic cost of natural hazards.
