We are thrilled to announce that the Journal of Public Health in Africa (JPHIA), in collaboration with Africa CDC, is offering a Manuscript Writing Workshop on the sidelines of the upcoming Conference for Public Health in Africa in Rabat, Morocco.
Workshop Details:
– When: November 21-25, 2024
– Where: Rabat, Morocco
This workshop is a unique opportunity for early-career researchers working on priority diseases in Africa (see list in the flyer) to gain critical skills in scientific manuscript writing. Participants will receive intensive training on:
– Structuring scientific papers
– Data presentation and analysis
– Addressing reviewer comments and publication ethics
Additionally, attendees will benefit from networking opportunities with leading African researchers, offering potential guidance and collaboration that could lead to publication in the Journal of Public Health in Africa.
Full Sponsorship
Selected participants will receive full sponsorship, including:
– Travel
– Accommodation
– Workshop materials
Eligibility
This program is open to researchers working on priority diseases like Ebola, COVID-19, HIV, Lassa Fever, Zika Virus, and many more (detailed in the flyer).
