Introduction

Digital marketing is no longer a niche skill—it is the backbone of modern business growth. In today’s interconnected world, companies across industries rely on digital marketers to build their online presence, engage customers, and drive measurable results. From optimising websites for search engines to creating compelling social media campaigns, digital marketers are the professionals who ensure that businesses remain competitive in a digital-first economy.

The demand for digital marketing talent is rising rapidly, especially in Africa, where businesses are increasingly embracing digital transformation. Yet, many young people face barriers to entering this field, such as lack of access to training, mentorship, and job placement support. Recognising this gap, Generation Ghana and its partners have designed a fully sponsored Digital Marketing Bootcamp to empower young people in Ghana and Nigeria with the skills, confidence, and opportunities they need to thrive in the digital economy.

This programme is not just about learning—it is about launching a career. Over 13 weeks (in-person) or 14 weeks (online), participants will gain hands-on experience in SEO, SEM, content creation, email marketing, and social media management. They will also develop critical behavioural skills such as persistence, communication, and time management, alongside employability skills like CV preparation, interview techniques, and portfolio building.

The bootcamp culminates in a structured placement phase, where graduates receive direct support in securing jobs or freelance opportunities. With dedicated mentors, employer engagement, and access to a growing alumni network, participants are not only trained—they are guided into meaningful employment.
