Are you a rising senior with a passion for finance and a dream of working on the trading floor of a major bank or investment firm? The World Bank Treasury Summer Internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in global financial markets, asset management, and more. This program not only lets you work in financial markets—you’ll help create new ones.
What to Expect:
•Program Dates: May 27 – August 4, 2025
•Location: Washington, DC
•Compensation: $21.30 (net) for non-U.S. citizens, $26.00 (gross) for U.S. citizens per hour
•Rotations: Gain exposure across three different Treasury teams, each focused on areas like asset management, capital markets, and risk management.
•Engagement: Participate in a custom onboarding, weekly discussions with Treasury leaders, and a capstone project that you’ll present to senior management.
•Networking: Connect with nearly 300 Treasury professionals, including the Vice President & Treasurer.
Eligibility Requirements:
•Must be in your second-to-last year of a four-year college degree program.
•Must have a strong academic standing and a demonstrated interest in finance, business, economics, or a related field.
•Must be available for full-time, in-person work in Washington, DC, for the entire internship period.
•Graduation expected between December 2025 and September 2026.
