The UK-German Study Visit 2026 offers a powerful opportunity for teachers to engage in international collaboration, deepen their understanding of curriculum relevance, and gain practical insights into preparing students for life and work in a globalized world. Taking place in Wales from 25–27 June 2026, this fully funded professional development program brings together educators from the UK and Germany in a dynamic, hands-on learning environment.

What Is the UK-German Study Visit About?
This funded initiative is designed to:
- Bring together teachers from the UK and Germany
- Explore how curriculum relevance can be effectively implemented in schools
- Provide an international framework for understanding education systems and innovation
The program is organized by UK-German Connection in collaboration with LFEE, ensuring a high-quality and impactful experience for all participants.
Importantly:
- No German language skills are required
- Schools do not need to offer German as a subject
- Open to teachers across all disciplines
Key Aims of the Study Visit
Participants will benefit from a comprehensive learning experience that includes:
1. Curriculum Development and Innovation
- Explore how to design a whole-school curriculum that is meaningful and future-focused

Funding, Travel, and Costs
This is a fully funded opportunity, with the following coverage:
Covered:
- Accommodation
- Event-related costs
- Travel reimbursement (after the event, per guidelines)
Not Covered:
- Incidental expenses (e.g., snacks during travel, personal spending)
Additional support:
- Up to 50% contribution toward supply cover costs (upon prior request)
