The Student Energy Guided Projects Cohort 3 (Solar Stream) is now open for applications, offering an incredible opportunity for youth-led teams to gain hands-on experience in the clean energy sector while making a meaningful impact in their communities.

This program is designed to empower young innovators with the tools, mentorship, and funding needed to design and implement real-world solar photovoltaic (PV) projects. If your team is passionate about sustainability, climate action, and renewable energy, this is your chance to turn ideas into impactful solutions.

About the Guided Projects Program

The Student Energy Guided Projects initiative equips young people with critical early-career experience in the energy industry. Through this program, participants go beyond theory and actively engage in solving real community energy challenges.

Under the Solar Stream, selected teams will:

  • Identify pressing energy challenges within their communities
  • Design practical solar photovoltaic (PV) systems
  • Plan and execute installation projects
  • Deliver sustainable, community-driven energy solutions

This immersive experience ensures participants develop both technical and professional skills that are essential for thriving in the global clean energy transition.

Why You Should Apply

2. Mentorship, Training & Funding

Selected teams will benefit from:

  • Structured training modules
  • Guidance from industry experts and mentors
  • Access to funding of up to $15,000 to support project implementation

This support ensures that teams are well-equipped to execute impactful and scalable energy solutions.

3. Create Lasting Community Impact

Participants will:

  • Deliver real solar energy installations
  • Reduce energy costs and carbon emissions
  • Contribute to sustainable development in their communities

The projects are not just educational—they create measurable, long-term benefits.
