The role requires spending 3–4 periods per year on-site within academies and clubs to ensure effective implementation of strategies and to build strong working relationships.

 

Key Responsibilities

As a Football Innovation Analyst, your work will directly influence team performance and player development. Your responsibilities include:

1. Leading Innovation in Set-Piece Performance

• Drive research and innovation in set-piece strategies across RTD academies and clubs
• Identify performance gaps and introduce improvements

2. Collaborating with Technical Teams

• Work closely with coaches, analysts, and technical staff
• Define key performance questions and priorities

3. Performance Analysis and Strategy Development

• Analyze existing routines and tactical setups
• Design and test new strategies to enhance match outcomes

4. Translating Insights into Action

• Convert complex data and research into practical, easy-to-implement solutions
• Ensure insights lead to tangible improvements on the pitch

5. Cross-Club Knowledge Sharing

• Act as a connector across RTD environments
• Share best practices and innovations between academies and clubs

6. Advanced Data and AI Utilization

7. Match and Opponent Analysis

Minimum Requirements
