Position Overview
The Climate Change Project Coordinator will play a key role in managing and implementing climate adaptation initiatives.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing and delivering capacity-building workshops
- Organizing and facilitating webinars and training programs
- Supporting project coordination and implementation
- Developing tools and educational resources
- Collaborating with project partners and stakeholders
- Supporting climate adaptation initiatives across Canada
The position requires strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced project environment.
Key Requirements
Applicants should have:
- Minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience
- Experience in project coordination or climate-related work
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in remote and collaborative environments
- Interest in climate adaptation, sustainability, and environmental policy
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously.
Contract Details
Two positions are available:
1-Year Term Position
- Full-time position
- Salary: $70,000 – $85,000
- Possibility of contract extension
2-Year Term Position
- Full-time position
- Salary: $70,000 – $85,000
- Possibility of contract extension
Both roles allow flexible remote work within Canada.
Project Areas
Selected candidates will support major climate adaptation programs, including:
- Advancing Implementation Training Initiative (AITI)
- Ontario Resource Centre for Climate Adaptation (ORCCA)
These initiatives focus on building capacity and resources to help communities implement climate adaptation strategies.
Location
Remote – Canada
Candidates must be able to work remotely within Canada.
Salary
$70,000 – $85,000 per year
