About the First Movers Fellowship Program
The First Movers Fellowship is a year-long journey, designed for those actively innovating within their roles to align business objectives with social and environmental improvements. Fellows participate in three in-depth seminars that emphasize leadership skills, social impact, and sustainable business strategies. The program also offers collaborative opportunities where fellows can work on projects that tackle pressing global challenges, supported by the institute’s network of experts and peers.
Who Should Apply?
The Aspen Institute seeks individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Professional Standing: Applicants should be employed within large, for-profit companies (not nonprofits or public sector).
- Role in Core Business: Ideal candidates work in primary business functions like strategy, marketing, operations, or product development rather than in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) departments.
- Track Record of Impact and Humility: Nominees should have a proven history of pioneering impactful innovations within their roles, coupled with qualities such as humility, integrity, and a commitment to systemic change.
