Are you a passionate youth advocate and an avid TikTok user? TICKTOK is now accepting applications for the 2024/25 TICKTOK Youth Council! This is a unique opportunity for young people aged 14-19 to help shape the future of TICKTOK by advising and informing the platform’s policy and product teams.

The TICKTOK Youth Council brings together teens from around the world to share their perspectives and provide insights on key issues affecting young users on the platform. As a member, you’ll have the chance to voice your opinions, influence decisions, and contribute to a safer and more inclusive TICKTOK for all.

What We’re Looking For:

TICKTOK is seeking young people who:

• Are between the ages of 14 and 19 (must be 14 by December 2024 and no older than 19 by September 2025).
• Are passionate about advocating for youth and online safety.
• Have a good understanding of English and are comfortable participating in English-language virtual meetings.
• Can work collaboratively with others from diverse backgrounds and regions.
• Are willing to learn, share, and dig deep into topics that affect teens online.
• Are open to discussing different viewpoints and contributing to a respectful and safe dialogue.

Your Commitment:

• Meetings: Participate in 90-minute virtual meetings every two months from December 2024 to September 2025.
• Preparation: Complete occasional pre-meeting reading materials, short surveys, and email correspondence.
