– Individual project work: April to February
Selection Process
A committee of experts from academia and industry selects fellowship recipients based on:
– Academic and professional career (determination, qualifications, and in the case of PhD holders, key publications)
– Leadership skills in climate protection
– Research project (quality, originality, feasibility, and relevance to climate protection and the applicant’s home country)
Personal background, including equal opportunities and accessibility, is also considered.
Key Information
Applications close on 1 February each year. Selected candidates will be invited to a virtual selection meeting in September. Applicants must follow the rules of scientific practice and ethics. Previous fellowship recipients are not eligible to apply but may join the alumni programme.
