2. Duration of Study in the United States

  • Students may spend 4 to 9 months abroad.
  • This corresponds to one or two academic terms at a partner university.
  • The program includes the option to complete up to two months of an internship during the stay.

3. Comprehensive Funding Package

Fulbright Germany provides substantial financial and administrative support, including:

  • Full coverage of U.S. tuition fees for all TAD participants.
  • Funding for living expenses and enrollment-related fees:
    • USD 13,800 for 4 months
    • Up to USD 31,000 for 9 months
  • A J‑1 visa issued free of charge.
  • Participation in Fulbright’s ASPE health coverage (subject to host university acceptance).

4. Academic and Professional Integration

  • Students may be able to complete their mandatory MPP internship in the United States after their study term, allowing them to combine academic and practical experience.
