The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is seeking young adults to join its NAMI Next Gen Advisory Group for 2025-2026. This group will help shape mental health initiatives by bringing fresh perspectives from youth across the country.
Who Should Apply:
– Young adults aged 18-25
– Those passionate about mental health and reducing stigma
– Individuals eager to develop new ideas for youth mental health resources
Role and Responsibilities:
– Commit about 20 hours per week
– Attend monthly meetings
– Advise on current and new programs
– Plan youth-focused events and contribute to media activities
– Lead content creation for NAMI’s youth newsletter
Requirements:
– Age 18-25
– Commitment from January 1 to December 31, 2025
– Availability for biweekly meetings
– Participation in professional development
