The Visiting Student Research Program (VSRP) at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) offers an unparalleled opportunity for undergraduate and master’s students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) to gain cutting-edge research experience in a world-class academic environment. With over 100 faculty-led projects to choose from, students are invited to participate in hands-on research internships lasting from 3 to 6 months — all fully funded by KAUST.
About the VSRP Internship
The VSRP internship is designed for 3rd or 4th-year bachelor’s students and master’s students seeking a deep, research-intensive experience. Interns have the flexibility to choose their project and preferred start date any time throughout the year. This rolling application and acceptance process fosters a vibrant and diverse global community of researchers and learners.
During the program, participants work closely with renowned KAUST faculty in state-of-the-art research facilities while contributing to innovative projects that address real-world challenges. Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the VSRP internship, applicants must:
