The future of cloud technology is being built today—and students have a unique chance to be part of it. The AWS Student Builder Campus Leader Program 2026, launched in partnership with NEXT GEN·TEAM, is an exciting opportunity for college and university students to gain hands-on experience, develop leadership skills, and represent Amazon Web Services (AWS) on their campus.
This paid, part-time program is designed for motivated students who are passionate about technology, community building, and peer engagement. If you’re eager to connect your campus with cutting-edge cloud tools and opportunities, this program could be your next big step.
About the Program
The AWS Student Builder Campus Leader role empowers students to act as ambassadors for AWS Builder Center initiatives within their universities. Participants will lead outreach efforts, organize events, and inspire fellow students to explore cloud computing and related technologies.
The program runs for 12 weeks, divided into two 6-week phases across semesters, with an onboarding session at the start. Participants are expected to commit approximately 8–10 hours per week, making it flexible enough to balance with academic responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
As a Campus Leader, you will:
- Promote AWS Builder Center programs through peer-to-peer outreach
- Increase awareness and drive sign-ups within your campus community
- Create and share engaging content about AWS tools and learning resources
- Organize on-campus activities such as demos, information booths, and classroom announcements
- Submit weekly reports and participate in monthly leadership calls
