Spearheaded by the Danish Refugee Council (Dansk Flygtningehjælp) in partnership with the Global Refugee Youth Network (GRYN), this groundbreaking initiative empowers young leaders to drive real change in their communities through flexible, trust-based funding.

What Is the Shift the Power Fund?

The Shift the Power Fund is a global funding initiative that centers equity, participation, and impact. Its goal is to shift resources, decision-making power, and leadership directly into the hands of refugee and displaced youth aged 15 to 30. By investing in locally rooted, community-driven initiatives, the fund supports grassroots innovation and sustainable development led by those who understand the issues best — the youth who experience them.
