• Improving homeownership rates
• Addressing redlining and Indigenous land theft through reparations or landback initiatives

Who Can Apply?

NGGC invites applications from organizations that meet the following criteria:

1. Budget Requirement

• Annual organizational budget must be $750,000 or less.

Organizations must:

• Primarily serve communities in the Greater Washington region, OR
• Apply for funds to serve communities in the Greater Washington region.

This region includes:

• Washington, DC
• Prince George’s County (MD)
• Montgomery County (MD)
• Northern Virginia

3. Community Focus

Applicants must work with historically under-resourced communities to build wealth or financial security.

4. Organizational Age

• Must have been operating for at least one year.
