  • Position Title: Federal and External Affairs Intern

Key Responsibilities

Interns will engage in a wide range of activities that directly support climate policy coordination and implementation, including:

1. Climate Policy Research and Tracking

  • Monitor and track state-level climate policy developments
  • Maintain and update the Alliance’s internal policy database
  • Analyze policy implementation progress across member states

2. Federal Policy Monitoring

  • Track federal climate initiatives, funding opportunities, and policy announcements
  • Identify relevant public comment periods and regulatory developments
  • Provide summaries and insights to inform internal strategy

3. Program and Event Support

  • Assist in preparing materials for meetings, workshops, and peer-learning sessions
  • Support coordination of multi-state collaboration efforts

4. Policy Communication and Content Development
