Calling the Young Leaders: Apply to Join the 2024-2025 WBG Youth Summit Steering Committee

The World Bank Group (WBG) is seeking dynamic young leaders to join the Youth Summit Steering Committee for the 2024-2025 term.

Responsibilities:

As a member of the Youth Summit Steering Committee, you will

• oversee the planning and execution of the Youth Summit 2025.
• Working closely with other committee members,
• you will ensure the success of next year’s Summit
• and contribute to empowering youth to address pressing global challenges.

Eligibility:

• Must be 35 years old or younger as of 06/30/2025
• Have a minimum 1-year contract with the World Bank Group or the IMF
• Specific positions are only open to WBG employees

About the WBG Youth Summit:

The WBG Youth Summit is an annual gathering of young people aged 18-35 from around the world to engage on key development topics. Managed by young WBG professionals, the Summit aims to empower youth, promote dialogue, and foster innovative solutions to global challenges. Previous Summit themes have focused on topics such as youth entrepreneurship, climate change, and inclusive growth.

Structure of the Summit:

The Youth Summit features two days of plenary sessions, workshops, and a global pitch competition centered around a development theme.

Participants can join in-person in Washington DC, virtually through a closed platform, or contribute via a regional office.
