Scope of the Program:

• 70 fellowships awarded annually
• Approximately 140 awards active at any given time
• Fellowships divided equally among CIHR, NSERC, and SSHRC

Value and Duration:

• $70,000 per year (taxable)
• 2-year non-renewable fellowship

• April to September: Application period
• September 17: Deadline for complete application submission
• October to December: Evaluation of applications
• Mid-February 2025: Notification of results
